DRANK WANTS TO KISS CRUBY ALWAYS.

Okay that horribly embarrassing thing they don't talk about aside, Dusk is honestly surprised by how stable Crusade is. The whole Dawn-in-my-head left him with a kind of neutral-negative view of all of Ruby, which really wasn't far but the entire thing left a kind of negative taste in his mouth anyway, but the few conversations he's had with Crusade were a lot more pleasant overall than he expected them to be. Beacon of sanity, etc etc.

At the moment, Dusk has an overall positive view of Crusade. Despite the awkwardness, he did like talking to him the few times he did and the SANITY is a very much appreciated thing. It'd take a few more conversations, but I think Crusade could become someone that Dusk could come to like on a normal level. Possibly trust! But atm it's still a little too up in the air.

IT'S NICE HAVING A SANE PERSON ON RUBY EH.

Konatsu has . . . the most hilarious, ridiculous, baby crush on Asch WHICH IS HORRIBLE AND HE HATES HIMSELF AHHHH! He doesn't plan on nurturing or GOD FORBID ever acting on it. He recognizes how ludicrous and inappropriate it is (these are THE WORDS HE USES IN HIS HEAD, "this is ludicrous and inappropriate!!!"). But he's sort of doing that thing where he wants to talk to him but not too much because talking to him too much looks suspicious but he wants to but oh no did I say something dumb am I making him uncomfortable OH GOD WHY DO I EVEN CARE I'M GOING TO GO HIDE NOW! And then he goes home and writes Asch's name in his diary--okay that last part doesn't happen.

Mostly though he likes him and wants to be his friend! The kiss thing was AWKWARD and caused AWKWARD FEELINGS, and Konatsu didn't really know him well outside of that T first, although his impression was positive because Asch handled himself well when Luke was inside of him, and he also knows Luke cares a LOT about him (enough to UNCOMA HIMSELF). So he was predisposed to think favorably of him, and then the kiss happened and he didn't expect things to go well after that, but then they talked and actually Asch is a nice guy to talk to! They can ignore that whole--thing that happened that they don't talk about! He's sane and nice. It was less awkward than he expected (other than his own internal flustering), so yay. He would like to talk more, both for the sake of having a friend and the sake of knowing more about Luke's not-twin, which is also important to him.

So does Asch really have alternate personalities :3a

Dusk and Luke are essentially the same person! Luke's a lot more naive because of his limited memories/world experience, but both Dusk and Luke are strongly similar in personality, goals, and morals.

There's also Asch, whose ideas and personality were HEAVILY influenced by Van throughout his life. Hating the replica was a thing Van encouraged him to do! I'm pretty sure Asch would have just been super sad panda for a long time over being replaced if it hadn't been for Van's influence. Asch is also where Dusk's periodic rage fits come from, because Dusk is bad at handling the instinctive ANGER!! ingrained into his body from being Asch. So sometimes it comes out and Kite has to throw a bucket of water on him and he manages to regain his sense of Dusk.

... And then there is Drank. Dusk and Luke are strongly influenced by the 'noble ideals' so they don't talk about their personal desires and wants. Nor do they pursue them in any way; the people/team/etc are much more important than what he wants. Drank is the result of taking down all those self-inflicted limitations and doing/saying what he REALLY thinks. FOR EXAMPLE helping Konatsu do his quest was a thing Dusk would have wanted to do, but when he found out it was kissing his PROPER NOBLE side would have gone 'no that is inappropriate maybe someone else on the team won't mind...' and he would have gone to find Ferris probably. Drank on the other hand would see the 'sensibility' in just doing it himself. And could admit that he liked kissing! It's a very much ALL WALLS DOWN thing that leaves Drank a lot more open and impulsive than Dusk, who tends to overthink/restrain himself.

God I just spent a paragraph talking about Asch's drunk alter ego.

WOULD KONATSU SWITCH TEAMS IF GIVEN THE CHANCE?
