I do! They're fairly far into the future and they're more of a SURPRISE thing I would like to do, but as far as immediate plans go I'd like to have her do more out-of-games things with the norms. I've been trying to think of more things she can do and failing though :|a

What development for your characters have you been most surprised about here in aather?

Iiii was definitely surprised by the extent of Faith's bromarriage with Lloyd! We apped them knowing they'd probably be friends but the degree of their friendship/trust kind of shot WAY ABOVE/BEYOND what we'd predicted! It also took a bunch of memories and IC events coming back with certain timings--if Mithos had gotten RACISM!!! back too early he wouldn't be as trusting; if he hadn't had manasense back or Riful hadn't been such a skeeve they wouldn't be roommates, etc. I also wasn't expecting Mithos to develop into such a free agent with a philosophy of quietly breaking down perceived divisions--it's something he never manages to understand in canon.

For Mint, it was developing PARTY LOYALTY for her team! She canonly becomes pretty protective of people she likes, but ultimately she's a lone protag who does all the really hard world-changing shit on her lonesome. Support is incidental! Here in Aather she has her team and a handful of others outside it who she actually feels she can rely on regularly. It's different! It's good for her.

I didn't expect Dusk to attach himself so entirely to Dawn. I fully expected him to put some distance between them after getting back the Akzeriuth memory, but because that was quickly followed by the chain of events that happened, Dusk was kind of shock-forced into coming to circumstances with his feelings regarding Dawn and as a result grew even more attached to him. LIKE REVERSE CANON, now Dusk is at the point where whatever memories he gets back, he won't let them affect his feelings toward Dawn but they have been messing around with his feelings toward other things/himself.

For Chariot I... did not expect him to join Onyx because I didn't know there was an Onyx! But when it came up I knew that him joining could be a Thing because I had been failing to thread him with other knights and so he didn't have any of the attachments to Sterling that would/could have kept him back. I love Chariot being on Onyx now, it is such a self-formed team of derp and topping Mal is the best thing ever \o/
